Five more students expelled from Janesville schools
Four times as many students have been expelled from the Janesville School District than at this time last year.
A high school student was expelled for bringing a small knife to school and is not eligible to return until the age of 21.
Another high school student was expelled until the age of 21 for making threats towards district staff. That student is eligible for early reinstatement if they meet a long list of conditions.
Two high school students were expelled for the remainder of the school year for engaging in sexual activity on school grounds.
The final in the latest round of expulsions is a middle school student who was kicked out of school until the age of 21 for repeatedly refusing to obey school rules. That student is eligible for early reinstatement if they meet a list of conditions.
