A Janesville resident is getting a reaction to his second petition regarding spending on city building projects. Bill McCoy already announced a petition asking for a referendum before an already approved new central fire station would be built, now says he's planning to circulate a second petition. The second petition would require a public binding referendum for any capitol or other construction project exceeding $2 million dollars. City Council member Sam Liebert tells "Your Talk Show" on WCLO referendum's of this nature are a slippery slope. He says $2 million would even cover the city's annual road repairs.
