Beloit man arrested for 5th offense OWI

A routine traffic stop leads to a fifth drunken driving arrest for a 34-year-old Beloit man.

Beloit Police say they stopped Gustavo Fercano Perez around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday after observing him commit a traffic violation at the intersection of Wisconsin and Keeler Avenues.

Following investigation, Perez was placed under arrest for fifth offense operating while intoxicated, operating after revocation, failure to stop at a stop sign, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, and an active bench warrant for his last drunken driving arrest.
