A routine traffic stop in Janesville leads to the execution of a search warrant on a residence on the 300 block of Wilson Avenue and the arrest of two suspects.
Janesville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Tonyiel L. Partee of Janesville in the area of South Jackson Street and West Delevan Drive just after 3:30 Saturday afternoon after she committed a traffic violation.
A k-9 officer sniffed the vehicle,and after he alerted to the trunk, police say they found 15 individually wrapped packages of THC and cocaine base.
A subsequent search warrant at a residence on Wilson Avenue turned up more cocaine, heroin, drug paraphernalia, and various prescription drugs.
Police arrested Partee for possession of THC with intent to deliver and possession of cocaine.
59-year-old Kenneth D. Jarrett of Janesville was arrested for possession of cocaine, heroin, prescription drugs, and drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
