Arrest made in connection with suitcase bodies, one victim identified

Town of Geneva Police say an arrest has been made in connection with two bodies found in suitcases on June 5th.

52-year-old Steven M. Zelich of West Allis was taken into custody Wednesday.

Police say one of the two women found in suitcases along North Como Road, about a half mile from the police station is 37-year-old Laura Simonson, who's been missing from Farmington, Minnesota since November of last year.

The second woman has not been identified. Authorities says she's between 15 and 35 years old, is between five feet two, and five feet four inches tall, has long dark hair, and a heart tattoo on her lower left abdomen.

Police are currently tight-lipped about the details of the women's deaths, and what sort of charges Zelich may be facing, although they do say there is no danger to the public.

Numerous law enforcement agencies are assisting in the investigation, including FBI agents and police officers in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.
