AUDIO: Senator Baldwin supports cleaner air and jobs
U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin pushes for environmental reform, and job creation. The Democrat is supporting new air quality solutions proposed by the Environmental Protection Agency. Baldwin tells "Your Talk Show" on WCLO Radio, taking a leadership role in the world, could benefit the country's economy. When it comes to jobs, Baldwin is backing a plan to keep better reward companies for not exporting jobs to other countries. She says the Patriot Employer Tax Credit plan was introduced in the Sentate Thursday. Another effort would match industry needs with workers willingness to learn. Baldwin says the Workforce Investment Act is designed to bridge the skills gap. She says it passed the Senate 95-to-3, and expects it to pass in the House.
