Suitcase bodies suspect held on $1 million cash bond
The 52-year-old West Allis man accused of murdering two women and discarding their decomposing bodies in suitcases along a rural town of Geneva road is held on $1 million cash bond.
Gazette Reporter Andrea Anderson, who's been following the story closely says in court Friday, the prosecutor indicated that more charges could be added to the two counts of hiding a corpse that Steven Zelich is currently facing.
Zelich is accused of killing 37-year-old Laura Simonson at a Rochester, Minnesota hotel room, and an unidentified woman somewhere in Kenosha County. Â
According to the criminal complaint Zelich drove around with the women's bodies stuffed in suitcases inside the trunk of his car for several months.
Zelich's prliminay hearing is scheduled for thursday, July 3rd.
