Fast food workers help police make two OWI arrests

Janesville police make a couple of drive-thru drunk driving arrests over the weekend.

The first was Sunday morning about 7:30 at a fast food restaurant on West Court Street.

Officers say the call was promoted by a 35-year-old Janesville man angered when he didn't get the pancakes he ordered.

The second incident happened Monday morning a little after midnight in a restaurant drive-thru on Milton Avenue.

A 25-year-old Janesville man got angry when restaurant workers asked him if he'd been drinking, and refused to serve him.

Officers say the suspect was so angry he waited for police to arrive.

That's when he also was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated.
