2nd suitcase body identified as missing Oregon woman

Officials confirm that the second woman found in a suitcase along a town of Geneva road is a woman who went missing from the state of Oregon in 2012.

At a news conference Monday officials in Walwoth County said that they used dental records to identify Jenny Gamez of Cottage Grove, Oregon.

The other victim was identified last week as 37-year-old Laura Simonson of Farmington, Minnesota.

52-year-old Steven Zelich was arrested last week on two counts of hiding a corpse and police say he's admitted to being involved in both women's deaths.

Police believe Zelich killed Gamez in late 2012 or early 2013 in Kenosha County, and Simonson in November of 2013 in Rochester, Minnesota.

Police say there was no official reason why Zelich dumped the two bodies in suitcases in the town of Geneva.

Zelich is currently being held in the Walworth County Jail on $1 million cash bond.
