UW-Rock offers one stop shop for attending college

Students interested in starting a bachelor's degree or those who already have an associate degree and want to complete their bachelor's degree can get the help they need to get enrolled for fall courses at one of three One-Stop Shops for Going to College that will be held in Hyatt Smith Hall on the campus at 2909 Kellogg Ave. These free events will be held Thursdays, June 19, July 17 and August 14, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

The One-Stop Shop for Going to College will allow students to get help no matter where they are in the college application process, whether they are just considering attending UW-Rock County, they've done the online application but haven't been admitted, or they need help with financial aid or have other questions before registering for courses. Prospective students and their parents will attend an information session about the campus, take a tour, and then have options to meet with an advisor and use a computer to get hands-on assistance with filling out applications, completing financial aid forms or selecting courses.

Registration is not necessary for this event but is appreciated by calling (608) 758-6565 ext. 200 or registering online at http://rock.uwc.edu/admissions/visit.  Individual tours and appointments are also available by calling the campus or e-mailing rckinfo@uwc.edu.
