AUDIO: Medical Radioisotope manufacturer breaks ground

A new Beloit company promises jobs and better health.   A medical radioisotopes manufacturing company breaks ground in Beloit.  Northstar President George Messina told a crowd, of community and business leaders Wednesday, at the site on Gateway Boulevard, the operation would develop many skilled jobs.  Messina went on to boast how, since their production techniques did not use radioactive material, there'd be little of the dangerous by-products sometimes associated with the industry.  Officials say eventually 165 full-time employees will work at the facility.  The first of three construction phases will be completed this year.
