Beloit police end stand-off peacefully

A police stand-off ends peacefully in Beloit.  Captain Dan Risse says officers were investigating an armed subject report in the 900 block of 10th street a little after 11:00 Tuesday night, where they found one victim suffering a head wound.  Risse say an argument in a group of three women and two men ended when one man produced a hand-gun and hit the other in the head with it.  The investigation led officers to an address in the 1900 block of McKinley Avenue, where the suspects repeatedly refused to talk to police.  The SWAT team was called out, and Beloit Police Crisis negotiators were able to establish contact, and the individuals were taken into custody at about 7:30 Wednesday morning.
