4 suspects from Beloit standoff identified

Four people are facing charges after a police standoff (Wednesday) in Beloit that lasted almost all night.

The incident appears to have begun when a man pistol whipped another during an argument on 10th Street.

Police caught up with the suspects at a residence in the 1900 block of McKinley Avenue.

They repeatedly refused to talk with police until crisis negotiators were called out at about 6:00 a.m.

22-year-old Charreese Long of Beloit was arrested for armed robbery and a probation violation, 19-year-old Arsheal Gill was arrested for armed robbery and disorderly conduct.  21-year-old Erica Martin of Roscoe and 19-year-old Dakota Stevenson of Beloit were arrested for party to a crime of armed robbery.
