I am joined by many today, feeling the pain of losing a very dear and special friend...(my best friend for 25 years). John, was the brother I never had, and was truly family to me and many others. He and his entire family are great people and they were so blessed in having John. John's witty and quick sense of humor was loved by all, especially me. I encourage us all to lend a support-network to his children, Brit and Emily, his family and friends. Let us all take time to appreciate what we have now today and remember what John and his family members have given to us and our community. Rest in peace my dear friend, as you live on in my heart and memories. For you, I will always be greatful. John (Boy), You will truly be missed.

John Gage died tragically in a car accident on Saturday August 16. He leaves behind a wonderful daughter Emily, many many friends & his family. He will be missed! He was completing the Flood 2008 work on Saturday. We had heard that it will be finished, he would be so happy. It was a work from his heart!
