Matt Sigmund, a Parker Band parent, has info on the group's annual chili dinner after some opening commentary from Stan. The supper is at Parker High's Cafeteria from 11-6 on Sunday, (11/1). $9 for all-you-can-eat Chili, salad, bread and beverage. Carryouts available.
Stan tackles the issues surrounding state representative Jeff Wood and his recent alcohol/drug troubles. We talk a bit about the coming deadline for extra discounts on the WCLO cruise and Stan looks at the political process as relating to campaign contributions. Also callers on Jeff Wood, insurance rates and traffic.
Stan's opening comments center on WTAQ air personality, Jerry Bader, at the center of controversy related to the Governor's Race. In the second half of the hour, M&I Bank's Community President, Mary Willmer-Sheedy and James Otterstein, Rock County economic development director, announce a new economic development initiative for Rock County.
