Stan's discussion during open mic largely revolves around some of the big names in talk radio and their criticism of "mainstream media". Is WCLO mainstream media? Likely not to Rush Limbaugh or Laura Ingraham.
This hour begins with a discussion with Milton High School's AP Government teacher, Val Crofts as he previews the Discovering Democracy Fair. Then Janesville City Council member, Tom McDonald talks trash - literally as he and Stan discuss some landfill issues.
Stan reports and pontificates on a new study which challenges recent fiscal problems in the social security program's future. In the second part of the hour, Brett Hulsey, candidate for 77th Assembly District talks about his campaign.
