A group of Janesville area women are trying to help bring some holiday spirit to Wisconsin solders serving overseas. The Wisconsin Society Daughters of the American Revolution are participating in a project called "Trees from Home". Donations to Trees From Home can be made at any M&I Bank in Wisconsin. Or you can mail a check, made payable to Trees From Home to: Anne Wanke, Janesville DAR Chapter Regent, 9744 N. Klug Road, Milton, WI, 53563. A $20 donation helps fund a fully decorated 12-inch artificial Christmas tree, a bag of Christmas candy and a Christmas card. But any donation amount will be accepted and also will help pay for shipping. Donations will be accepted through Nov. 1.
