Honestly, I had hoped up to a year ago that the building could be saved for its historical value. Then about 3-4 months ago, thieves broke into the building, stole anything metal including the boiler and did a lot of damage. It also became clear that another small business in that area would not survive. Considering limited parking and commercial space, there wasn't much else that could go in there except a small business. Now the building is an eyesore more than a historic relic and it is ready to fall down on it's own.
Take it down.
And to all those who protest about the decision, maybe if you had taken the time to maintain the building while you waited for someone to buy it, this wouldn't have been the end result. JMO

Suggest removal
