Dissapointed in Fans

By Al Fagerli ( Contact )   March 10, 2008

If you logged on to the Jvl Gazette website and were reading the stories on the Parker/Craig and Parker/Verona girls basketball games and then wanted to make a comment, you see that the Gazette stopped comments. Why,becuase many of the comments were not comments, they were down right mean.

I applaud the Gazette for putting a halt to this ridiculous behavior. I just don't understand people. How big of a man or woman are you by taking pot shots at a 16,17 or 18 year old high school basketball player? Not much in my opinion. These kids were doing something they love to do and were playing with something on the line. Well as it is with any competition, there is one winner and one loser. One team feels good, the other feels bad.

I am dissapointed that some feel they have to make such comments.
