Baseball is here
Leave it to the schedule makers. With the major league season opening Monday, why in the world are they playing in Chicago? Why are the Brewers and Cubs going to play in the drizzle and cold temps, when 90 miles to the north, they would have a roof and temps in the upper 60's inside Miller Park.
I don't have an answer. The good part is,the Brewers will host the Cubs in the final series of the regular season. Why is that good? It is possible that series could decide the Central division title.
I don't think it will because the Cubs are going to fade, while the Brewers.coming off a learning year last year, will be in control of the division and a playoff-berth.
The Cubs can spend all the money they want,go over-seas for players, sing all the 7th inning stretches they want, and it is not going to help. This is the Brewers year.

hey al. just a heads up. ive heard you mention twice now that left field was a natural switch for ryan braun. you, i believe are mistaken. braun was drafted as a shortstop, but moved to 3rd. as far as im aware, other than spring training, this will be his left field debut.
