Milam is Moving up! (Program changes, part 1)

By Tim Bremel ( Contact )   January 4, 2008

Stan's moving up, and we couldn't be more pleased. Now, don't get all excited. You're not going to have to get used to a new voice or host... only a new and improved schedule for the Stan Milam Show on WCLO.

We've been reviewing our late morning programming and want to be sure it fits into your lifestyle. Most folks are where they're going to be by 9am, and have already gotten the day's news, sports and weather by then. So the Newsbreak at Nine program becomes somewhat repetitive as listeners wait for the local issues and topics pursued on the Stan Milam Show at 10am.

We've changed that, and hope you'll find the changes coming Monday a refreshing change.

Starting January 7th, Here's what will take place on WCLO, mid-mornings: --Bob Dailey joins Stan Milam starting at 9am with a look at the day's events and some topical discussions. --Stan Milam Show begins in earnest at 9:30am and continues until 11:30am. --WCLO's mid-day news and information begins at 11:30am with our local newscast at 11:55. --Clark Howard will begin at 12:06pm following CNN News at noon.

We believe this is a big improvement to our morning schedule and we hope you'll agree. As always, your input is invited and welcomed.

Thanks for listening!

Unfortunately, those who work nites and don't get to bed until 3 or 4 am will lose out on 1/2 hour of Stan in the morning...

So, what can we expect for part 2?
