If a bus rolls, it is safer to have kids in seatbelts. Even if the bus has to slam on the brakes - anything - how can it NOT be safer to wear a seatbelt? This - again, is a money issue. Would cost too much to retrofit the buses, and belts would have be lap only, so they adjust from kindergartners to high schoolers. Personally, I think it should be a law - that they have seatbelts on.

There is a group in Waukesha County that is working very hard towards the same goal - WEAL,Inc. Waukesha County Environmental Action League. I can't understand why people do not protect the earth/natural resources FIRST. If we deplete and ruin everything here, where is it, that we think we are moving TO?

This is one thing that really pisses me off. I see people even dumping their car ashtrays in parking lots - last time, I told the guy to either clean up the mess, or I would call the police to ticket him for littering. I know smokers think that everyone is picking on them - but geez - it is littering. Didn't we learn that this was a bad thing way back in grade school?
