pepsi had recently released the 12oz bottle for 99 cents (hey pepsi's only 99 cents again! woo hoo!).
it's already up to 1.29 in many places.

steve:
found this press release (the date for the release is aug 24 101 but mentions super bowl 44 -- i think they meant 45)
August 24, 2010: Westwood One names its broadcaster lineup for the 2010-2011 NFL season, with Kevin Harlan joining Boomer Esiason as lead play-by-play announcer for Monday Night Football and Super Bowl XLIV.

can't argue with you tim. if they call, they need to grow a pair, take a deep breath and go for it.
it is a bit nerve-wracking, but like speech class in school, you live through it. and who knows, you might even get good at arguing your point.

not only did kleefish show up, she took calls.
very nice.
to the caller who insisted kleefish is on a government insurance plan...
indeed kleefish is on her husband's plan, and her husband joel IS on a plan via the state (he's a state assemblyman).
the insurance plan in which he is enrolled is a private plan -- it could be state farm, blue cross blue shield or any number of private plans).
his plan is no more "government health care" that is say the teachers' plan.
unfortunately, i don't think the caller listened to the facts but instead went with what she's been fed by the barrett campaign.
********
that caller also mentioned being sick and tired of kleefish's lying and that kleefish was assuming we the people are all stupid.
sadly, it's the barrett campaign who is assuming we're stupid. they're the one's making up this lie about ms. kleefish.

no relation, but edwards orchard near rockford is great.
as is skelley's.
skelley's has two mazes this year -- and you can do the mazes at night this year too.
pretty cool -- and still fun at this age (whatever that is)

perhaps they could suggest that kids help their elderly neighbors first, then go have fun. just a thought.

it's not a good question. i want to see the fireworks display. i think the carnival, if losing money, should end. in the posts on the original story, someone mentioned all of the options we have -- and that the rides were of dubious safety standards.
keep the fireworks.
kill the carnival -- or do something for one day only.

i listened to the interview. tough topic to handle.
but handled professionally -- and it was interesting.

what should be off-limits?
tough question -- if it involves certain appendages being unceremoniously (or ceremoniously for that matter) removed, then ok -- off limits.
in fact, would that comment make this comment off limits?
otherwise tim, anything goes.
the show is entertaining and informative - keep up the good work.
