Good question.

I think it's attractive because it's a visual brainstorming site. You can say, "That project is visually appealing" and pin it. That said, I don't use it that much, but get the notifications that people are following me on it.

Side note: have you read "Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand? Pin it! Read it!

Rose, I really like your hair. It looks so much better than the way you used to wear it. :-P

This frustrates me SO MUCH.
Several years ago, I used to let my dog out without a leash to relieve himself. Then he was killed by a car.
Now, our two dogs are never outside the fenced yard without a leash being attached both to the dog and our hands.
...to add to my rant after today's 5:30 news: Rory *was* actually off his leash over the weekend. He was so scared by the big dog "just saying hi" that he somehow backed out of his collar and was standing naked on the sidewalk. Luckily, he was also so scared he didn't take off running.

Ok. I'm stepping off the soapbox. I promise.

Steve Knox wrote a blog about this a little while ago. I'd like to think I'd stop, but in reality my own car knowledge is limited to the problems I've experienced with my own vehicles.
Actually, come to think of it, since my Tempo left me by the side of the road no fewer than five times, I could probably help. ;)

Let's just hope the unrest in Madison, Libya and Egypt doesn't spread to McDonalds. Run, Mayor McCheese! Before they eat you out of office!

Well, maybe since this family was so sad about the loss of their mother the consignment store owner would remember them. (Hopefully they don't get bereaved families so often they blur together)

I think it would be nice for the store owner to contact the family, explain the situation and ask if they'd like it donated to a specific charity in their mom's name. It never hurts to ask.

If that doesn't work out, maybe a nursing home or hospice organization would like it.

Thanks, Steve!
Please note: I have moved, so I no longer live within walking distance. I am, however, the only news team member who lives within Janesville city limits. This is the first time I got the 3am call that both Steve and Stan can't make it in.

The hardest part was shoveling out the four-foot drift in the driveway. I would definitely NOT recommend travel today.
Stay warm!

I kind of want a Slap Chop, but I was surprised they cost $20 in the store. Guess I need to order it from the tv and they'll double the offer!
