Yes it will and I already have a sidewalk, it's about electing people who show common sense and fiscal restraint during this economy, what we have right now is the exact opposite of what needs to be making decisions for our city, skatepark- NO, New Ice arena- NO! We need to keep what we have in check, we need to maintain our cities roads, parks, bike paths (which by coincidence makes for a great place to walk without having to build more sidewalks)and wait on all of the luxuries until this economy gets back on track, and it's going to still take some time for that to happen.

On Will the city of Janesville’s plan to fill gaps in the city’s sidewalk network affect your vote in the city council race?

pablo, BINGO! You got it, she does seem to have an awful lot of time to come here and weigh in on just about everything from Applebees to Zebras and everything in between, (must have a state job) and SarahB1 it's now 10:00pm and it appears that the Yes still has a stronghold on the vote at 79%! I guess "You working folk" must be on the late shift tonight.......
donnaw, haven't you noticed yet that when asked of dtb; "Whatever happened to shaking hands and going on your way, wishing the other fellow the best when you lose". Yes he/she is willing to do that, but only when the vote has gone his/her way!
The vote is in and court is now no longer in session, the peoples voices have been heard, maybe not your people but yes, the majority has finally stood up for what is only right and that is for the minority to start towing some of the weight when it comes to the budget and their health care and pension packages just like the majority of Wisconsin and for that matter the USA do year in and year out!
We have reached the end of the line when it comes to the free ride that some have enjoyed for way too long, when the well runs dry, you can't get any more from it, and the majorities wells have been dry for a while now......
mentor397~ You are absolutely right, it does take more time to comment than it did to vote, the vote was the easy part, it's only common sense when it comes to that, however when it comes to myself and voicing WHY I voted that way, well then that takes some time to get my point across here, and I'm sure I could use up all of the space provided here and some of you still just won't get it!
SarahB1~ I guess I'll have to check back in the morning to see if more of "You working folks" have weighed in after the late shift has ended......
Good night fellow Wisconsinites, the future is now!

Does anyone know what station Dan is going to? I hadn't listened to WSLOW in years, that is until Dan Conry arrived on the radio scene and then it gave me a reason to listen to the station again. Now that Dan will be gone, I can again remove the station from the pre-programed stations in my car and am looking for his new home to replace it in my line-up.
Hopefully it will be a station that comes in here in Janesville, as I am figuring that Bliss communications will be replacing him with another left winged radio host so they can just give into their left winged majority listening group once again. No real reason to tune in if thats going to be the case anymore........

Yuri should have stayed, he owes it to the city of Janesville to be informed the best he can be. By staying he could've possibly learned something about Scott Walker, our Governor and been able to take something away from this, instead he chose to side with the protesters and is still as informed as he was before last night. His behavior is that of a little kid, if he doesn't see things the same as I do so I'm not going to listen to him! If Yuri speaks for the people like he says he does, he needed to stay and listen to what Governor had to say and he possibly would've been able to take something away from all of this.
