I thought I was going to have to burn my furniture for heat this season. ;)

I love the entire series. They are well written and exciting to read. The movies so far have been excellent and I can't wait to see the Half-Blood Prince.

Apply your fertilizer before it rains? This goes against everything I have ever been taught about nitrogen fertlizer.

We wash by hand in our house. In my opinion, it is a waste of electricity to do wash them in a machine. I realize others don't feel the same. I am a busy person with adult children. I delegate responsibility within my family and the chores get done even though everyone in the house has a full schedule.
If you fill up the sinks with soapy and rinse water, you don't have to run the faucet every few seconds or so and this conserves energy and water. Air drying dishes cost $0.
I have a well and a septic tank/field, and also try to purchase more eco-friendly soaps, but have yet to find one as good as Axaj for cutting grease. Any suggestions?

Are the tests free? How do poor people pay for these types of tests?

Educated, non-alcoholics and non-drug users abuse children, too. Smart people can make bad decisions. This problem is not only socio-economic. It affects everyone in every class. It comes from an inability to deal with anger and it doesn't happen all of a sudden. It builds over time.

It would be nice to have a shuttle service between the 3 communities. I would have liked it to have started a long time ago, so I could have used the service to get to the UW Rock & UWW campus from northern Janesville every day.

I am not so important that I need to own a cell phone. I don't believe anyone else is, either. It is as much of a road hazard as a drunk driver, so I believe all drivers should be banned from using them on the road. And folks, please, STOP USING THEM IN THE RESTROOM, TOO! No one wants to hear your bodily functions from the crapper!
