@dtb: Do you really think you she can come up with 7317 votes. Not. It's way to expensive for such nonsense. Get over it and find another cause. There are plenty of other losing bandwagons out there to jump on. Maybe you can be on the ObamaCare one when that goes down in flames at the US Supreme Court.
On Should there be a recount in the state Supreme court election?

Should members of the Janesville City Council be allowed to express partisan ideologies?
Regardless whether they should or not is one thing, but being disrespectful to the office of the Governor is another. This was just a pathetic attempt at attention. Yuri obviously finds it difficult to be noticed in any other way.

Even though the poll reflects the majority of thoughts (which I agree with and did vote) of south central Wisconsin, I'm a little uncomfortable with the choice of the word "tactics" in your question. It does have a negative conotation to it. Wouldn't "procedure" been less negative?
On Do you support the GOP tactics used to act on the budget repair bill?

Wouldn't it be better to read these documents at your office. You were starting to sway me when I read the details of the emails, but now sliding fast the other way again.
The show is over. I know Sen. Miller needs to be told what to do by the union bosses, but I thought you could think for yourself. It's becoming abundantly clear that you are one of the sheep.

The "Motel 6 Fourteen" asked for comprimise. The Governor offered comprimises. Now our Senator says in the paper this morning (Weds) that it's not enough. I say pull back what was offered yesterday Governor. This appears to be a game with them and will continue to be as long as they are lead by Miller. Why the Senate ever elects anyone from Madison for a leadership role is amazing. They really just want to continue to play hide and seek in Illinois. What a disgrace to democracy these 14 are.

These are the heros of the left. How sad.

Holperin: I hope you (and the other "Clock Tower 14") are ready to accept the blame for layoffs. The comprimise is you coming back to work so there won't be layoffs. How much more plain can that be???

You snooze, you loose. Of course we all know you would have lost anyway regardless so get over the "Republicans tricked us". We were getting sick of wasting the legislatures time with your amendments that were starting to sound the same. Please; an amendment to cut inmate meals from 3 to 2 to help the 137 million dollar deficit.

Could these results have been more spectacular! It's a great Wednesday morning in Janesville. All of the vitriolic Rock Co. Dem Party office holder candidates, including the Co. Board candidate defeated. It sends a clear message that we don't need/want hyper-partisian politics at the local level. If I remember correctly, Rich Bostwick even mentioned that fact in his interview with the paper. The voters agreed whole heartedly as he slapped down his totally unqualified and radical lefty opponent 70% - 30%.
And Kathy Voskuil made a great showing, partially I'm sure due to her stand on sidewalks. (who did that goofy group against sidewalks endorse, I forgot?) Sidewalks are part of all civilized society.
Now, there is only one extreme partisian LEFT on the council and thankfully it will be only one more year until he is sent packing! Unless there is a recall before?
