I too was disappointed that we were not notified. Can't they use the reverse 911 system to notify affected residents? I have a weather/emergency radio with a boil alert notification and it never went off.

Our daycare seems to have a fundraiser almost every month. I realize that schools/daycares need to supplement their classrooms but I do not think my 3 and 4 year-old should be selling anything. I have not participated in the sales and instead (if my budget allows) give them $10-20 at the close of the fundraiser to use as they see fit.
On Should students and parents be able to opt out of fundraising in public schools?
