And the winner is?

By Al Fagerli ( Contact )   August 15, 2008

After a successful first year growing some tomatoes,I decided to be greedy and double my efforts this year. Well, with the wetter and cooler spring and summer, the crop,if you can call it that, has been slower in coming in. My next door neighbor got his first ripe one in last week. Then you have the guy down the street. Softball size he has,and they are coming in so fast,he has to set them around his house on a ledge to ripen up completely.

Me? One. One that is close to being picked. It should come in this weekend. I hope. I'm getting hungary for some bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and dinner,24/7

Al, "Hungary was one of the 15 most popular tourist destinations in the world in the past decade". I hope you don't have to go to Europe for a BLT.

I'm bummed I didn't get any tomatoes in the ground this year. They're so much better out of the garden.
