Turnbow's chances have run out

By Al Fagerli ( Contact )   May 1, 2008

Two years ago,he was one of,if not the best closer in the game. Today,Milwaukee's Derick Turnbow has fallen so far, that it is time for the Brewers to do something. And that something, could be "See Ya later". Granted,Wednesday's game with the Cubs was over when Turnbow came in,but it was an opportunity for Turnbow to begin his redemption with manager Ned Yost and the Brewer fans. What happened, well,we know, another bad outing.
Is it time for him to go? Maybe a change is needed. The Brewers are carrying a load of pitchers, having one less won't make much difference.
