Badger and Packer weekend

By Al Fagerli ( Contact )   November 6, 2009

Are the Badgers back to where they were before the Ohio State and Iowa losses? Take a look at the schedule. They will be playing teams the rest of the way that are not OSU and Iowa. On paper, anyway, the should win out. They have Michigan at home next week, the final home game, and the Wolverines, after a hot start, have faded. Northwestern won't be easy, but I feel Wisconsin is stronger than the 'Cats. I am really impressed with the Badger defense. They have the top defense in the Big 10 against the run. And they are doing it "by committee" along the defensive line. Wisconsin is rotating 7 or 8 different players along the D-line. Hey,if you have the personell, use it. WISCONSIN 30 INDIANA 10.

For the third time in four weeks, the Packers get a patsy,0 and 7 Tampa Bay. Okay,it's on the road, but come on,the Bucs are so messed up from their head coach on down, that to expect them to put up ANY battle, then I have a bridge to sell ya. The good news this week, changes along teh offensive line. Mark Tauscher and Chad Clifton should be in the starting lineup. Gotta keep our ARod upright. PACKERS 40 TAMPA BAY 7. Enjoy the football weekend.

The Big 10 is pathetic this year. Yes, the Badgers may win out, but they're still not a top 25 team. Indiana will probably give them a run for their money. I wouldn't be surprised by a Hoosier victory. Wisconsin hasn't beat a good team yet. I think they may have a long day when they play their bowl game.
