Parenting issue or another boy in the balloon?

This video has started a lot of discussion about parenting:

If you want to have that conversation, that's fine, but I have some doubts about the authenticity of the man's story. I'm not sure it's real.

Remember this?

This turned out to be a case of parents using the media to get some attention. It worked.

Real or not, shooting a laptop on the Internet certainly gets you attention.

Should it?

Keep it clean. Comments that are obscene, vulgar or sexually oriented will be removed. Creative spelling of such terms or implied use of such language is banned, also.

Do not libel anyone. Libel is writing something false about someone that damages that person's reputation.
Ask questions. What more do you want to know about the story?
Stay focused. Keep on the story's topic.
