Cindy McCain's Handshakebreak
Let's talk about handshakers.
Can I just say that some people need to be aware that they have a bone-breaking very firm grip.
Cindy McCain went to a Detroit hospital for x-rays today after an “enthusiastic” fan injured her hand.
Just how hard do you have to shake someone's hand to injure it? Not very hard, let me tell you, especially if that person already has a pre-existing condition.
I once jammed my pinkie finger, and it was healing up just fine until a gentleman at church shook my hand and nearly crushed my knuckle in the process. Another few weeks passed before my hand felt “normal”, and I worked very hard to avoid that man at church until then.
I understand that a firm handshake is preferred over a limp shake, but please. How hard must you squeeze? And men, really, what are you trying to prove by crushing a woman's hand? I'm all for a good, manly handshake, but you are probably much stronger than I am, so you don't have to give a woman the full force of your handshake... especially if your hand is roughly the size of a ham.
Ease up a smidge. That's all I'm sayin'...

I also agree in a nice firm handshake. I dont like when men shake my hand like a am some frail women.I feel like I think they think i am inferiour to them. shake my hand like anyone else. Ialso dodnt agree with the bone breaking kind or the kind that put your ring indented into you finger. HOW RUDE!!!!
