Driving in the Fog

By Rose Stricker ( Contact )   March 8, 2010

A note to my friend who complained that people were "really stupid" on the roads this morning:

Dude, maybe the problem is you.

I've noticed you refuse to turn on your headlights when there's fog. You tell me, "What do I need headlights for? I can't see any better with them on."

But you know what? Your headlights help other drivers see you.

So, when you complained to me how so many drivers pulled out "right in front" of you this morning, I'm pretty sure it's because they couldn't see you coming.

And maybe the problem is you.

I totally agree, it drives me nuts when people drive in the fog or rain without the headlights on.
