Holiday Programming wrapped up for you!

By Tim Bremel ( Contact )   December 18, 2009

Its Christmas time again on WCLO.  Time for us to say thanks.   Thanks to our staff for their hard work in gathering, producing and delivering Southern Wisconsin's most comprehensive local news programming.   And thanks to you, our listeners, for trusting WCLO for coverage of local events, weather and topics of interest to area residents

Its been our holiday tradition to honor our workers and listener's time with families by "breaking" our news/talk format and providing you with special holiday programs. As we do this, we want our listeners to know that our staff is still monitoring world, national and local events and is prepared to take action if any critically important news or information needs to be broadcast. However, other than the most important and critical items, we'll be playing it "low key" and having some Christmas fun.

We hope this is a time you can spend with family and friends to create lasting memories and enjoy the true spirit of the season.   We at WCLO hope to be a part of your celebrations by providing the perfect holiday background.   With Christmas on Friday and celebrations continuing through the weekend, we're extending our holiday music until 6pm on Saturday, 12/26... so keep us on when you're returning those socks.

We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year from everyone here at WCLO.    Here's what you can look forward to over Christmas weekend on WCLO:

I'll second Frusion's comment. The entire staff does a great job of focusing on our community. I'm a more eduucated resident because my digital screen says 1230.

If only iPods and other mp3 players would add a AM feature. Are there any available?

Thanks for doing what you do gang. It's appreciated.

All of you at WCLO deserve a break!! You are the best!! There is no other radio station I even care to listen to. All of you from the morning crew, to the surly Stan Milam, to the lovely Rose Stricker, and of course the fantastic play by play calls of Big Al, you are THE best!!!
