A "Thank You" gift for helping fight Heart Disease

By Tim Bremel ( Contact )   July 15, 2010

I'm not above a little begging to help folks. Especially those who have been adversely impacted by heart disease and stroke.
WCLO, and our sister station, WJVL, have been proud supporters and sponsors of the American Heart Walks since they first came to our communities.
This year, we're out to do more than publicity. We've created our own WCLO Listener Team, which you can join by clicking this link right now.

The walk is short and the weather is always great. You can probably even get it in before church on Sunday, August 29th.

To show how serious we are - we're making it 75% easier for you to receive a T-Shirt as a reward. Raising $100 gets you the official Heartwalk T-Shirt. But if you'll join our team and pledge as little as $25 - we'll reward you with a Team Green T-Shirt.

And what could be greener than a nice summer walk?.

Please join us for a good time and a great cause. We all know someone who has been impacted by heart disease. Maybe, just maybe, together we can make a difference. Please join our team right now. Even if you can't make the date, you can still make the donation. And we greatly appreciate every dollar!

Thanks in advance!
