Weekend Changes - part 2
A few days ago, I gave you the brief overview of our Saturday program changes.
These weekend changes are the most complete overhaul of our Saturday and Sunday line-up in more than 12 years. So, lets go through what's headed your way on Sundays when there are no sports broadcasts on.
--Sunday mornings remain largely unchanged through 8am, keeping our Music and the Spoken Word broadcast at 7am and our collectibles show, "Whatcha Got" with Harry Rinker from 7:30-9.
--At 9am, get set to travel with "Rudy Maxa's World", a show dedicated to travel tips, information, deals and destinations.
--"The Money Pit" home improvement show keeps its slot from 11am-1pm.
--From 1-3pm (where sports are prominent) we will feature an encore presentation of the new "Jill on Money" program featuring great information on all things financial.
From 3-6pm, we bring you the best of the week's Michael Smerconish program, (which begins a regular weeknight schedule on July 1 from 6-9pm).
--NEW from 7-9pm is a LIVE program we hope will be of benefit to many in the area. "Your Next Job" features tips on everything from resume' writing to interviewing skills.
--To make way for "Your Next Job", our Sunday evening radio theater programs will begin one hour later. "Imagination Theatre" will air from 9-10pm, with The Twilight Zone airing two separate episodes from 10-midnight.
In the coming days, you can find some more detailed information on our program line-up section of the website.
Finally, I'd like to thank our listeners in advance for their patience. Inevitably, changes of this magnitude come with some implementation problems since we cannot "practice" them until we are live. A lot of "invisible" factors to our listeners are also in play as it relates to computer equipment and scheduling of the new programs. We're doing everything we can to minimize any problems as we head into our first weekend, but there may be a few bumps in the road and we thank you for your understanding.
Most of all, thanks for listening!
-- Tim
