Congratulations to the Brewers.

By Tim Bremel ( Contact )   September 23, 2011

It was a late night party on the radio station Friday night as the Brewers did their part to clinch the NL Central. Then, as the postgame began, the crowd cheered in Miller park as each strike was thrown by Chicago. After about a 15 minute wait, the Cubs helped usher Milwaukee into the playoffs by defeating St. Louis 5-1.

Listening to Uecker and Provus bask in the glory was fantastic. You almost felt you were a part of the 40,000 plus that stayed at Miller Park for well over an hour after the game ended, celebrating and cheering.

Now, a few games to close out the season, and then its post-season time. You'll hear every game on WCLO.

Way to go, Brewers!!!
