A Janesville business leader is honored for supporting employment opportunities for the disabled. The Deputy Secretary of the Department of Workforce Development dropped by the Italian House Friday to bestow honors on owner Edmond Halabi. Georgia Maxwell delivered the Exemplary Employee Award to Halabi for his most recent work with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Halabi says he finds great rewards in offering opportunities to those who might otherwise struggle with any employment. Halabi has been working with such programs for almost three decades.
