One of the Janesville School District's key administrators is retiring. Director of Administrative and Human Services Stephen Sperry says he's retiring at the end of this school year. Sperry started with the school district in 1985. He worked at Parker High school until 2004, first in industrial education, then special ed, and finally as the assistant principal. From there he became Principal at Edison Middle School and finishes the last seven years of his career in district administration. Superintendent Karen Schulte calls Sperry a man of immeasurable integrity, honorable character, and high standards. Sperry says his years as a public educator have gone far beyond his imagination.
