A faulty space heater is being blamed for a weekend barn fire in Beloit. Firefighters found the barn in the 3800 block of Gateway Boulevard fully ablaze when they arred about 10:00 o'clock Sunday morning. The barn a total loss. Police say the owner was able to rescue four horses, but lost a new horse trailer, hay, and other equipment in the barn. The home, garage, and a vehicle were also damaged.
