Downtown Janesville business owners may soon be banding together to improve the looks of the city’s center. City Manager Mark Freitag tells Your Talk Show on WCLO a Business Improvement District may be considered. Freitag says basically businesses within the district agree to tax themselves a little more and use the money for improvements. An informational meeting on BID’s is being set up with a state expert for the evening of March 3rd from 5:30 to 7:00 at the “Venue” downtown.
