A tax incremental financing deal under consideration by the Janesville City Council could create up to 18 jobs by the end of the year, and eventually up to 100.
The City’s Economic Development Department is in discussions with NARA Partners LLC for construction of a secure data storage and document processing facility within the East Side Industrial Park
The deal under consideration would have NARA Partners constructing a 23,000 square foot by facility by the end of 2016 which would be operated by Data Dimensions.
As part of the TIF agreement the City of Janesville would provide an 8.27 acre parcel of land worth about $180,000 in exchange for construction of a facility with a taxable value of over $1.6 million.
The Janesville City Council will consider the deal when it meets Monday night at 6:00 p.m.
