The 47-year-old Milton man stabbed five times in a November 15th incident has died. Milton Chief Scott Marquardt said Mark Marquez died Sunday. Two brothers are charged with party to attempted first-degree intentional homicide in the incident. They are 25-year-old Michael A. Lopez of Milton and 27-year-old Mario Lopez of Janesville. Both have pleaded not guilty. Both are at the Rock County Jail on $100,000 cash bonds. Police say the brothers attacked Marquez because they believed Marquez had assaulted their mother.
