The Beloit Police and Fire Commission may soon be up to it’s full strength of five members again.

The City Council is scheduled to approve the appointment of Tressy Brown to replace Craig Zastrow for a term expiring in April of 2019, and former City Council member Ana Kelly to replace Timmy Link for a term expiring in April of 2018.

About a week and a half ago the City Council appointed Dennis Murphy to replace Leesa McGowan on the PFC.

The three members resigned after being asked by the City Council to reconsider their original decision to hire Interim Rockford Police Chief Patrick Hoey for the City’s permanent police chief position.

Eventually the PFC voted to hire Beloit’s interim Police Chief David Zibolski permanently.

The Beloit City Council meets Monday night at 7:00 p.m.
