A 37-year-old Janesville man is dead after accidentally being shot while turkey hunting in the town of Johnstown.  The Rock County Sheriff’s Office reports the man was hunting with two family members when he was shot around 7:30 Sunday morning and died on the scene in a field off North Lima Center Road and County A.  The sheriff’s office’s reconstruction team says the initial investigation indicates the man ran out of a blind to retrieve a wounded turkey and “inadvertently” crossed into the path of gunfire by one of his hunting partners.  The sheriff’s office says the man’s hunting partners tried to resuscitate him.  The Milton Fire Department, medics and a first response medical doctor responded to the scene and took over resuscitation.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Rock County Medical Examiner’s office is withholding his name pending an autopsy Monday morning in Madison
