Beloit police are investigating a robbery at the Check and Go on Milwaukee Road. Officers say the robber walked into the business a little after 11:00 (Monday) morning and threatened the clerk with a pipe-like object. The suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his late 20s, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a skinny build. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black hoodie with a wite crown on the back, tan khaki pants, black shoes, a black stocking cap and a black cloth covering his face.
