A juvenile black bear should be enjoying his new home after roaming around Beloit’s West Side Saturday night. Police say the bear was spotted in the 1100 block of Kenwood Avenue. Residents were advised to stay in their homes. The DNR was called in to tranquilize the bear and transport it to a safer area.
