Motorists traveling one Janesville intersection Thursday will have to find another way.
The City of Janesville Engineering Department says the intersection of Joliet Street and South Oakhill Avenue will close for a day starting at 8:00 Thursday morning.
A contractor working for the City of Janesville will be providing improvements to the City’s water system preceding a street resurfacing project on Joliet Street scheduled for later this year.
While local access to all driveways will be maintained throughout the closure, through traffic will have to follow a signed detour.
