Janesville Police K9 Fred gets a little action. Police say an officer spotted 25-year-old Trevor C. Michaels in a parking lot on Rockport Park Drive off Afton Road about 7:00 o’clock Monday night. Police say Michaels is wanted by the Department of Corrections. The arresting officer says he chased Michaels on foot. K9 Fred was deployed, and caught up with Michaels and knocked him down in the nearby woods. His handler says Michaels punched Fred in the head. Michaels is being held at the Rock County Jail after being arrested on charges of Resisting Causing Injury, Harassing a Police Dog, Battery to Law Enforcement, and minor drug charges.
